In previous training we covered Recognising a situation, Avoiding and then Defending (a.k.a. The Rule of R.A.D.), how to use your flinch response when under attack, and we also looked at mastering the human reactions of fight, flight and freeze.

Today we are covering a Self Preservation technique that stems all the way back from the Roman days. This simple lifesaving technique can be implemented quickly when someone is unloading a flurry of punches towards your face.
